Our Wooden Wine Rack is a modular wine rack that you can build to fit any space no matter how big or small. Our wooden wine bottle holder will hold up to forty bottles in a classic, simple, and stylish way to store your evolving wine collection. The design is for wine bottles to be stored in and on top of the squares of the wine rack. The octogonal beams will keep the wine bottles in place. Each rack is infinitely expandable and comes with extra joining pins to allow for room to grow with your next wooden wine rack purchase.

These wine racks are versatile for almost any space or need. We purchased our first one two years ago and this year just purchased two more to give as gifts. They look great and have the same great quality that they did two years ago.

If you're looking for something functional, simple and beautiful this is the wine rack for you. Very simple to assemble and the modularity of the racks mean you can make them fit nearly any shape or size. You can paint them, stain them, varnish them or leave them plain like me. And if you move or grow your wine collection these are easy to reconfigure or add to. Greatest and most functional wine rack I've ever seen.

I love this wine rack! Just what I needed! The 40-botlle took awhile to put together (I used glue on the horizontals), but I like DIY projects and it went together pretty easily. I DO recommend using a wood mallet, I marred a bunch of the octagonal pieces using the end of a 2x4 I was also using to set the pegs.

I am a long time purchaser of this product - probably purchased at least 10 of the 40-bottle box in the last 10 years for myself and to build for others. I recently purchased 2 more boxes and noted the price went up 1.5 times what it used to cost. While that isn't great, I was more disappointed when they arrived. The quality has declined. I received one large dowel with a crack down the middle and a couple of the smaller dowels broke when assembling. This has never happened before. Also, I had to sand down the edges and wholes on almost every piece due to poor cuts - there were a lot of splinters. I will now think twice before recommending this product.

Some years ago we bought the wood wine rack system for our large wine closet. We moved and needed storage in a smaller closet so we ordered a different size- just one bottle deep. Very high quality, easy to assembly and perfectly designed to customize to whatever space you have. Highly recommend!

Timeless look, perfectly made. We've built out to accommodate nearly 13 cases and it's as rock solid as ever. No glue necessary, though after having constructed so many of these, I have to say that the recent purchase of a Stanley 16 oz white/grey rubber mallet made the building process much easier.

This is just lovely, and easy to add to if needed. I procrastinated about assembling my wine rack for NO reason! Knowing that I am the least handy person had me stalling but, with a rubber mallet and the pictures of many possible configurations provided, it was a cinch! I am so proud...and thrilled I finally did it. The quality of wood is excellent. This is a really attractive wine rack. Don't hesitate.

After searching for a wine rack that would fit the space we had, we settled on the 40 bottle rack. The order arrived in great shape, very well packed with all pieces being of excellent condition. I assembled the rows, then spray varnished everything with two coats. After drying, I fit the rows together. Craftsmanship was excellent with all of the pins nearly perfectly aligned. Once together, the entire wine rack is very rigid, without using any glue, and it really meets all of our needs. I wouldn't hesitate to order more if I have the need to expand our current rack. Would highly recommend this wine rack and wouldn't have any reservation that the larger configurations would also be excellent.

Purchased the 40 (42) bottle wine rack and it arrived within a couple of weeks. Packing was tight and pieces were all in great condition, as expected. I immediately started to assemble the rack to fit the dimensions of the space. Pieces fit tightly with no glue being needed. I used a rubber mallet to make sure all dowels were firmly and completely into their proper holes. I assembled the 6 rows, including the upright dowels, then took everything outside where I applied two coats of a high quality clear lacquer. Once dry, I assembled the rows to complete my 6 X 7 wine rack. Was very impressed with the quality and would not hesitate to purchase more of the same if and when needed. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a high-quality, easy to assemble, and robust wine rack. Nothing flimsy about this product, at all.

Bought 3, 40 bottle kits and built a single rack that holds 137 bottles. Needed stable spaces for the many oversized and otherwise irregularly-sized bottles so common now. The 4 in. square cells do this perfectly. The rack, 19 cells w. x 6 cells h. olus 3 on top with horizontal courses glued together as recommended is very stable. Assembly took time; following directions was necessary. Called for assembly advice and received excellent suggestions.

I ordered a large and a small wine rack and had an issue with the finish. A call to the e-commerce manager resulted in a very quick and very satisfactory solution. Customer service at JKA's is still excellent and I speak from decades of shopping with them. I ended up ordering 3 more wine racks.

As other reviewers have stated, follow the directions, crimp the dowels and use glue for horizontal dowels and use white rubber mallet to insert dowels and assemble rack. I recently added more volume to my existing rack and with patience and modest installation time, my rack's capacity is now 480 bottles (24 rows wide x 20 row height) and is very stable. I am not handy and am as far away from a DIY person as you can get and I found assembly to be quite easy and the cost effectiveness of this option is unparalleled.
