Our Maple Reversible Carving Board, in 20"x14", has been rated the best carving board by both America's Test Kitchen (see video) and Cook's Illustrated, this Maple Reversible Carving Board is a classic. One side features an indentation that cradles your poultry or roasts so they do not slip while you carve. Great for other large, round items like pineapples, melons, eggplants, cabbages and more. As someone who is familiar with J.K. Adams and their products, I can attest to the fact that high quality products and excellent service are the norm. I bought this cutting board years ago, and have been using it consistently for carving meats and poultry. I love it so much, I went to the website to order the same one for my daughter and son-in-law. I had to go to website, as the retailer, Williams Sonoma, no longer were carrying JK Adams. What is so nice about this board are the 2 different indentations to catch meat juices; one on each side of the board, for poultry on one side, or roasts (or veggies) on the other side. I often just serve carved roasts from the carving board. Easy to clean and maintain. Attractive. It's something you can keep and use for years. Love this carving board, and a good value.

I have loved my JKAdams products, so with my son's wedding approaching, I ordered some shower gifts. The reversible board, of course, (Ilove mine) plus the maple bread board, the cutie board and the mineral oil and beeswax. I had noted that it was a gift and the items came in 2 beautiful boxes...what a easy way to do a gift!!! And, one of the items was engraved and it all arrived in less than a week!

The cutting board is everything that I would want in one. It lays flat, easy to clean. Love the indentations that keeps the juices from running onto the counter top. I apply wax 1 time a month to keep it from drying out. It's easy to do and I trust that if i keep it waxed it will work for many years to come.

Great cutting board

I just used my new cutting board for the first Thanksgiving turkey I prepared. The carve out for the bird worked much better than I anticipated. I had several teenagers crowding around me to get a piece while I was carving and it held perfectly. Buying quality is less expensive in the long run. I tossed out the "cheap $35 store bought one I purchased 6 months ago" and I expect to give this one to my grandchildren some day. Thanks for making a quality product here in America!

This is a beautiful, will-become-an-heirloom cutting board! I gave it to my son for Christmas - engraved - and he was bowled over. He is the family "carver" in our family - turkeys, prime ribs, tri-tips, etc. and every time we've had an occasion, we've realized his former cutting board didn't have enough of a trough to catch all the drippings. This one is perfect! Already tried it out on a prime rib at New Year's Eve and it was wonderful. Solid, beautiful, just the right size for a large turkey or roast and the engraving just puts the icing on the cake! You won't be disappointed!

Leaks without regular care

I have treated my cutting board well (no dishwasher, etc.), but I have not conditioned it as recommended. The result is a board that leaks juice. My husband sealed the crack we could see, but the board still leaks. Such a disappointment! My advice: Follow the recommendations for applying mineral oil or beeswax wood conditioner once a week.
