Typeface change

I'm replacing the cracked and broken lids from my father's 40-year-old spice jars, and was very sad to see the typeface has been changed, ever so subtly. The historical labels used Garamond, while the new labels are in Optima. It's most noticeable with the letters "a" and "g", but also in any letter that no longer has a serif. I'm delighted to be able to replace the lids, but sorry the original design was lost. Times have also changed in the spices named: out with the dill seed, dry mustard, minced onion, mint, and pumpkin pie; in with the anise, cardamom, cinnamon sugar, sea salt, and vanilla beans.

I've had an "old" JK Adams spice rack for 30 years or so. Over time, I've changed my collection of spices, and through various moves, I lost my extra labels. I was so happy to find them again, still available, all these years later. Others are online, but I wanted a matching set, and ones that were simple like the rack. Not frilly. JK Adams has the best products (all my cutting boards from 30 years ago are JK Adams). I won't buy any other wood products to this day. Shipping was fast and convenient and the price was reasonable.

I have had the spice carousel for 25 years and it is useful that the labels are still available to change and write your own on the spice bottles. I love the carousel, it is sturdy and attractive.

ENGRAVING is available on nearly all of our wood and slate products. With this method, your personalization design is finely-etched into the surface of the product with our state-of-the-art laser-engraver, producing a fine patina that will endure for the life of the product.

Carving (+$20)

CARVING takes engraving a step further (deeper actually). Available on many of our wood products, our Carving process adds beautiful dimension to your monogram or personalization design.
