Apple Cider Honey Vinaigrette by Bill Strecker

September 18, 2024 Jessi Kerner

As a dad to young kids, I am always looking for more ways to get my kids to eat healthy.  This family recipe for Apple Cider Honey Vinaigrette is a favorite drizzled on salads, for dipping crunchy veggies or as a marinade.  I like having a jar of this in the fridge that I can shake up for a quick fix for the never ending, "I'm hungry".  The vinaigrette will last for a week in the fridge.  Shake it up and enjoy.

Apple Cider Honey Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 3-4 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Mix all together and you will have the most delicious dressing (works as a marinade too!)

EASY SALAD TIPS

Lettuce - Pre-washed bags or boxes of greens are an easy way to get prepped!

Texture - Adding chopped carrots, nuts, grapes, or sesame sticks will add a crunch (and color) that makes it interesting to eat!

Protein - Rotisserie chicken or a grilled steak are a quick way to make an average salad into a protein filled meal!
