The Emile Henry Sublime Dutch Oven is a modern twist on the traditional cocotte style that has been used for cooking in Europe for centuries. The dutch oven comes in several sizes for cooking soup, a roast or even a no knead bread. This pot can be used on gas, electric, the grill or in the oven. The lid has small bumps to allow the moisture to drip back down into the pot during the cooking process. The 4 quart size is great when cooking for 2-4 people, the 6 quart can feed 4-6 and the 7.5 quart is best for cooking for 6 or more. The Sublime ceramic collection of Dutch ovens are made from Burgundy clay. The Sublime ceramic distributes heat smoothly across the whole pot better than any metal, including cast iron or stainless steel and it is 35% lighter than those other materials.
