Our small rectangle slate has been engraved with artwork from Vermont Artist Laura Zindel.  The engraved image is of two chickadees.  This simple board is a unique way to serve your favorite appetizers or to create a small cheese board.  Slate can be used as a trivet for a hot dish.

Care + Use

Wash in warm soapy water immediately after each use and dry thoroughly. Do not use as a cutting board-Slate will dull your knife and has the potential to split and crack with applied pressure. Slate is a natural stone, so some acids and alkaline cleaners may etch its surface. Your slate arrives to you pre-sealed with a food safe stone sealer.
