Opinel No. 8 knife is the best selling size of this iconic French brand. The No8 Knife has the Virobloc safety ring. Cut out of stainless steel, the Virobloc has two sections, one fixed and one sliding. In addition to locking the blade open (safety while in use), it is now possible to lock the blade closed (safety on the go). This classic knife is a wonderful pocket knife to be used for everything from slicing an apple while on a hike, to cutting pieces of kindling to start a fire, or even to sharpen your charcoal while sketching. The uses are limitless. The Opinel knives are Made in France as they have been since 1890.
