Description

Our French tapered rolling pin has been a favorite of customers and experts alike for over a decade.  We have updated this classic in rich Walnut.  The French-style tapered design makes this lighter-weight pin easy to maneuver while still providing enough substance to make easy work of any rolling task. Its slightly textured North American hardwood holds a dusting of flour better than any material to ensure non-stick performance.

Care + Use

Wood is an incredible natural material that expands and contracts with moisture and humidity. Regular regimented care of this product will protect it for years to come.

Handwash with warm, soapy water after each use and dry thoroughly with a towel. Never soak or submerge in water, run in a dishwasher, or use in a microwave. Placing hot pots or pans on your board can result in a lasting burn mark.

Apply JK Adams Mineral Oil and / or Beeswax Wood Conditioner once a week, with a lint free cloth, to all surfaces-including edges and ends-until the finish is established, and at any time the board feels dry.

If at any time the grain of your product becomes raised-causing a rough feeling-a light buffing in the
affected area with 200 grit sandpaper will smooth the finish. Reapply JK Adams wood conditioner after this process.

America's Favorite Taper Rolling Pin

"A French rolling pin also helps me stay in tune with my dough, no matter what I’m rolling out. The dough is close enough that I can feel where the thickness changes and adjust how much pressure I apply. This, in turn, helps the dough bake more evenly. Rolling the pin across the dough also feels more natural than feeling like I’m pushing it. "Rachel Knecht, Allrecipes.

"Disposable isn’t in our vocabulary."
